Probably the largest and most modern of the resorts in the Inawashiro region. Popular with Tokyo kids. Has hosted the 2010 Asian Open Snowboarding championships. Also linked to Nekoma area. The Alts side has the more modern lifts - gondola and covered quad chairs. The Nekoma side is a bit higher and has the steeper runs but has mostly older slower chairlifts.

Fukushima prefecture, about 20 mins from Inawashiro station.
Not far from town, good views of lake Inawashiro, modern infrastructure, Good park if you are into that and a few decent steepish runs.
There is a modern gondola but the runs from it are pretty tame. Avoid the trail from the gondola to Nekoma.

See Inawashiro region for getting to Inawashiro. There are a number of shuttle buses running to/from Koryama station. Daily shuttle from Inawashiro station goes at 09:20 and returns 17:30 (takes 30 mins).
There is a hotel at the base on the left hand side.
(2009/10 prices) Alts day pass is Y4700, Alts / Nekoma combined ticket Y5500 from the resort counter. But if you are staying at a pension you can get a combined ticket for Y3700.
There is a shuttle bus linking the Alts side and Nekoma side if you don't want to go via the lifts.
Yes there is a car park.

EDIT ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
There is a large base center which provides plenty of lunch options. Dinner options would be at your hotel or in Inawashiro town.
Bars & Entertainment
Head into Inawashiro town
Not a great deal. Inawashiro is largely a farming town.
There is a play centre for children.
The lower runs in Alts area and somewhat surprisingly the run from the gondola.
Most but not all runs will be groomed. The wider groomed runs are on the Alts side.
Out of Bounds
Parks & Pipes
The best bump runs are on the Nekoma side which is a bit steeper. A few runs are specifically left ungroomed.
As above. Nekoma is a bit higher so should be a bit colder.
