Barperson
Hard work, but good work. Can be a lot of fun, or real drag depending on your personality and the season. Involves lots of time on your feet and constant movement. The downside is that the late nights can make it hard to wakeup and make those first tracks.
Usually requires some sort of certification (Responsible Service of Alcohol or similar) which can be gained by attending courses held locally. Note that the certification requirements will change between states and countries.
Best way to get a bar job is to go to all the bars in town, introduce yourself to the manager/owner and show them that you are not an idiot, give them your contact details. Keep in regular touch with them as sooner or later someone will leave and if you are fresh in the bosses mind you might beat out the others before they find out about the job.
