Overview

Wildcat is famous for having the largest vertical rise of any mountain on the east coast. It's lucky enough to be situated over the road from Mount Washington, the tallest mountain in the north-east, renowned for having its own weather system. This means Wildcat can often get icy winds, shutting down the upper lifts.

Location

Route 16 in Pinkham Notch, New Hampshire, Wildcat Mountain is roughly half way between the alpine towns of Jackson and Gorham.
