Overview 

Roundhill now features the longest vertical descent of any resort in Oceania with 783 meters. The totality of which is available in one run from the top of the Heritage Express Nutcracker Rope tow to the bottom of the Platter lift. Roundhill also features plenty of beginner and intermediate terrain as well as a terrain park.

Location

Roundhill is 32km from Tekapo, along the eastern shore of the lake. The access road is a gravel road with a gradual incline to the base area of 1350m. The road allows for campervans and buses to make it up to the base area.

• Great for families with a focus on beginner and intermediate terrain and all the trails flow back to the central base area.

Cons

• The new nutcracker terrain faces west and is prone to melt-freeze conditions at any time of the year
