Pros
Small often uncrowded resort with a more relaxed family feel. Great range of runs for beginners and advancing intermediates in a non threatening environment.
Cons
No on snow accommodation, no real advanced runs, low altitude can mean snow is more variable than some of the higher resorts. Not much advanced terrian.

Planning
Getting There
Easy drive in with none of the dramas of Victorian alpine roads. It is gentle grades all the way and not too windy. Access is either via Tumut from the west or Cooma from the East.
Accommodation
On Mountain
None, zero, zip, zilch. Unless you work there!!
Off Mountain
Range of accommodation in Adaminaby, Tumut, or Cooma.
Lift Tickets
Ski School

Equipment Hire
On mountain hire of everything from skis, board, clothing, and even toboggans is available. Quality is OK without being outstanding but then it is aimed at the newer skier so it is adequate.
Resort Facilities
Getting Around
Walk or ski - the resort area is so small (off the slopes) there is no issue, carpark is a short walk from the runs and even the over flow car park is only about 100m away.
Parking
Thank goodness they have finally put bitumen down in the carpark. It used to turn into a big mud pit but now it is clean and easy on the car interior. The main carpark is right next to the runs and easy access, the overflow is only about 100m down the road.
Activities

EDIT ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
Dining
There is only one food outlet on mountain and that is in the main building. Offers the usual range of onsnow food for lunch and snacks. It often gets packed out around lunchtime and can be hard to find a seat. There are also a number of tables out in the sun (snow!) and a lot of people bring their own lunches and leave them in the car as the car park is only a couple of minutes walk from the ski area.
Bars & Entertainment
There is a bar in the main cafe but since it is only open during the day for lunch there is no entertainment as such.

Bumps
You will be lucky to find any but if you do they will be in Pig Gulley or Race Course. It is short and sweet so good for the ego but that's about it.
Powder Zones

Sheltered Runs
The entire resort is fairly protected and most runs are tree lined meaning that it is unlikely you will ever get blown off this hill. The worst thing is it is more prone to rain than the other resorts due to its lower elevation and northerly position. The only place to hide from the rain is in the coffee shop.
Snowplay
Snow play in abundance. Toboggan lift and a tubing park and plenty of places to build a snowman makes this an ideal place to take those just looking for a play and some sight seeing snow.
