Newcastle

In Newcastle, there is a great ski store called Inski as mentioned below, they have four stores in NSW and ACT. They do hires also. Inski.


Sydney

In the Sydney CBD there are a couple of shops opposite each other in York St in the city. These are Inski, which has shops in Canberra, Newcastle and Cooma & Japan. There is also Paul Reader, who also has shops at Chatswood and Mosman.

Larry Adler has a shop in Collaroy on Pittwater Road, Kent St in the City and at Chatswood on Archer St off Victoria Street.

ESS Boardstore has a shop in Parramatta on Church St, all major brands covered, hardgoods and softgoods.

Alpsport has a shop on Victoria Rd, West Ryde.

There is also a small, family run, ski shop called The Ark on the corner of Penshurst St and Boundary St East Roseville.

Apart from ski shops there are general outdoor shops, such as Paddy Pallin, Kathmandu and Mountain Equipment, on Kent St near the back of the Town Hall and in some suburban locations - there are a few in Chatswood. Although these shops do not sell skis or boards, a lot of their clothing is very functional in cold conditions.

Nutcase Helmets deliver nationally around Australia. Combining comfort and style, there are ranges for Snow, Water and Street sports and is founded by former Nike Creative Director USA, Mike Morrow.

An excellent cross-country ski hire and outdoors shop on the Maroondah Highway in Narbethong near the Marysville turnoff. Primarily servicing Lake Mountain. Open all year round. Great quality and service at the best prices. Everything the skier and snow-player require. Will be open for the 2009 winter.
